Camera obscura in the Vauxhall Palace
A camera obscura installation realized in the staircase of the Vauxhall Palace in Krzeszowice (Vauxhall Gallery). The classical camera obscura mechanism was enhanced with a lens, allowing for a sharper and more saturated image.
The inverted projection of the street, trees, and surrounding architecture appeared on the walls and ceiling of the historic interior, creating an ephemeral overlay of the contemporary landscape of the Krzeszowice Market Square onto the palace space.
